Doug Durfee concentrates his practice on litigation, focusing the defense of health care providers, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities. His practice encompasses all facets of litigation, including automobile negligence defense, and other personal injury issues.


Prior to joining the Ramar & Paradiso, Mr. Durfee worked in a plaintiff-oriented law firm and a defense firm, gaining experience in insurance defense and litigation across in state and federal courts. In addition, his background includes working as a journalist for 20 years.


Mr. Durfee graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 1998. He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Political Science from Western Michigan University. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and is licensed to practice law in Michigan, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
